It depends on the size of the home. Most 2 storey homes can be done in 1 day. Bungalows are usually a half-day, and some estate homes/custom homes may require 2 or more days. Our aluminum tracks are custom-made for your home to be a perfect colour match. We do this by going out to the same manufacturer that your contractor used when they installed your downspouts, soffit, fascia, etc and we order that same colour and product to ensure a perfect match. Unfortunately, this does mean that for more rare colours we are at the mercy of the manufacturer and any delays they may have in getting that colour to us. We do our best to hold inventory for all colours and brands but there are times where we need to order a colour in. We usually will not schedule appointments until we know that the colour match for your house is in. Because of this, most installs will be at least 2 weeks from the time a deposit is paid.
Typically, installations of moderate size are completed within a single day. Your presence is required only at the outset and conclusion of the installation process. Rest assured, we will liaise with you to arrange a suitable time for your installation.

Considering the varied shapes of houses or businesses, most installed tracks will likely feature corners or bends. Rest assured, all corners are meticulously installed to maintain a clean and tight appearance, ensuring a symmetrical flow that beautifully showcases the lights.
Currently, no. Unfortunately, the install process is never as easy as people think. When running the lights for 10 feet, it is the easiest thing to install. When doing it across an entire house, transitioning rooflines, and understanding the flow of animations, it is a completely different scenario. Also, more and more municipalities are beginning to require that a certified electrician install this type of product, which makes a DIY option difficult.

The lights on full bright white use less than one watt of power. It’s little enough that you won’t notice a difference in your electricity usage.
Technically, our lights are a high level of water resistance. The lights themselves, when not in the track, have a water resistance rating called IP65. In the track, this rating is significantly improved, although all that is needed is just the IP65 rating. Your tracks and lights can be pressure washed and cleaned without concern.

The controller and any extra power supplies come bundled in an appealing, weatherproof control box which is installed either indoors or outdoors based on your preference and the installation location. The controller and power supply are connected to a standard 120V outlet, commonly located in the garage near your sprinkler system. Subsequently, we route low-voltage, 12V wiring throughout the system.
